All payments are to be made at the time of collecting your dog/s. We accept cash, Mastercard and Visa as methods of payment (note that card payments will incur an additional service fee of 2% of the total amount).

Any missed appointments without a courtesy call will incur a $30.00 fee. We are more than happy to reschedule or cancel appointments if you are unable to attend.

We are a specialist in small to medium dogs. However, if they are a sibling of a small dog, or depending on their temperament and other factors, we will consider dogs over 20kg. Please complete the booking request form and we’ll get back to you promptly.

Yes, we are a cage-free drying and preparation salon with emphasis on dog welfare above all else. We do have containment options as required and in circumstances requested by owners. We use industry leading dryers with variable speed and thermosetting to suit the condition of each dog.

The grooming process itself can be about 90minutes for a wash and up to 3-4 hours for a full groom depending on the breed and style, etc. We do not work on the dogs continuously so that your dog can relax, play with other dogs, or simply enjoy being next to a human.

When you visit Wagging Tails, one thing that is very unique about how we work is that we, in a way, get to adopt the dogs that come into the salon for the duration of their stay. We build a relationship, a bond, with each one that spends their time with us. They become very happy with, of course, their “tails wagging” all day long.

We are not a ‘one size fits all’ salon. We carry a full range of products to suit all fur and skin types, and our industry leading equipment means we do not have to put your dog through any traumatic grooming experiences while at our salon.
